It was a very quiet morning in the Judbury hall, and only 22 people attending.
Everybody however, had a good time catching up with friends, and we even got some work done. We had two new ladies joining us in the “sewing corner”, and I hope they enjoyed the group.
We only had a few items for show and tell, but they were all of the highest standard.
please enjoy the pictures and I think they will all speak for themselves.
see you all next time
Hello again Judbury Crafters
We had an other lovely gathering this morning with 26 people attending.
Our show and tell table was groaning under the weight of all the beautiful items that were brought in. Lyndel is such a prolific knitter and her socks are to die for. Her beautiful jumper with matching headgear, certainly took my fancy.
Pauline had a few very interesting projects to show, and made us all admire her inventiveness and skills.
Vicky finished her beautiful knitted top and a lovely baby blanket and Nikki was very creative with her sympathy cards. They were beautifully decorated and can be reused(who would have thought that?), plus she showed a lovely trendy and colourful little beanie.
Valeri showed us her weaving skills, with two beautiful pieces in lovely colours, as did Glenys, showing the beautiful top part of a jacket in the making.
Julie brought us a lovely cardigan, that had a lot of admirers amongst all the beauty presented to us.
Last but not least a lovely pair of slippers that were a present to Marry.
Before I sign off, just to make good an oversight on my part. I forgot to introduce Michelle Vince, who joined us for the first time this morning and was part of our quilting corner. We hope you enjoyed the experience and that you will return for many more months, or years to come.
that is it for this month and I hope to see you next time.
We had a very quiet and laid back meeting with only 21 people attending.
We have two new names on our list and I hope that they felt very welcome in our group.
I did meet Cathy Moore a few weeks ago in Brighton and we talked about our lovely group. I am happy she came to see for herself today, what we are all about and hope we will see her inn the future.
Barbara Killion was with us before, but her name never made the list. To Barbara we extend a warm welcome as well.
Show and tell was great as usual, with many beautiful items on show.
Helen showed us her magnificent quilt, in the Jane Eyre style, in the lovely tones of that era.
Viv made four handwoven tops, that were just to die for and Win put the last stitches in a table runner and put her hand to weaving as well, with quite a few items to show for all her efforts.
Jill brought in a vest knitted from Yak wool and a beautiful pink jumper. She is ready for a long and cold winter.
Our show and tell session would not have been complete with a large display of items from Pauline. We were told about the art of “flour paste painting” and could see the result on Pauline’s shirt. All in all it was a lovely day and I hope to see everybody at the next meeting.
Stay healthy and happy

Hi dear crafters
We had a lovely time with 30 people attending this meeting.
As usual we had a table full of show and tell and as you can tell by the pictures, all of the very highest standard.
Judy Parry showed us her light as a feather lacy shawl, followed by the works of art from Valeri, a woven shawl and some beautiful dyed silk pieces. Lyndel had her needles working overtime again and showed us, apart from socks, beanie and plunger cosies, the most beautiful shawl, a design by Stephen West, according to Vicki ” of beautiful design himself”. We have to Google that one…
Pauline was busy with a family of bags of different design, and a lovely felted vest.
Helen created two beautiful shawls and Nikki made some lovely sheep earrings in all colours of the rainbow and some handcrafted cards.
The show and tell session was completed by Vicki, showing her lovely baby jacket.
All in all a feast for the eyes and thanks to all the ” show and tellers”, for sharing their work.
That is it for me. Please stay healthy, happy and safe and see you next month.
Good afternoon everyone
Just a short summary of our meeting today.
It was a very busy morning with 33 people joining in the fun.
I think we all had a lovely and sociable time, with plenty of snacks, of the healthy and not so healthy variety. Thanks everybody for taking the trouble and time to bring all the goodies.
The show and tell table was once again filled with the most beautiful handicrafts and I hope the pictures will do them justice. Pauline and Shirley made some lovely bags, Sheridan had some fun with wool dying, resulting in some wonderful beanies. Helen and Valeri produced 4 fibre scarves, even possum and rabbit were included and Pauline had us “oohing and aaahing” with her cowls. Vivian is working on her baby shawl and will have to get moving to get it to Queensland in time. Gloria made the most amazing tea cosy , covered in hats and mice and I am early this year with my finished Christmas wreath.
Bruce and Nicki catered for the green thumbs amongst us and they surprise us every month with the most lovely plants.
thanks for your support and see you next month
What a great start to the New Year on this perfect Monday morning.
You would not want to be anywhere else.
I am always looking forward to our show and tell, and it never disappoints. We had a table laden with the most beautiful craft items and there was a great variety of techniques.
Pauline was again in her most inventive mode and astounded us with cartridge ink dyed flowers. We had beautiful scarves, shawls, socks and pillows, and Winn made a stunning wall hanging of” the Kiss”. So much talent in this lovely group of boys and girls.
We were treated by our great barista team to some great coffees and lots of biscuits to keep us all happy.
I hope you will all have a great month and we will see each other next time.
Kind regards Johanna
